Coming off of a huge win against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11, what are the five biggest rumors surrounding the Green Bay Packers heading into NFL Week 12 action?
1. Can Eddie Lacy Continue His Improved Production?
One of the biggest concerns for the Packers heading into Week 11 against the Vikings was whether or not Eddie Lacy could turn his season around. That ended up happening as Lacy was able to break out for a 100-yard performance. He wasn't able to get into the end zone, but whether or not he can continue his increased production is the big question mark.
2. Is Aaron Rodgers Able to Get Back to MVP Form?
Early on this season, Aaron Rodgers appeared to have a chance to win back-to-back MVP awards. Rodgers has completed 61.7 percent of his passes for 2,482 yards, 23 touchdowns and three interceptions. Those numbers are solid, but his struggles over the last few weeks are going to be tough for him to overcome against players like Cam Newton and Tom Brady.
3. Can the Green Bay Pass Rush Continue Getting to the QB?
This past week against the Vikings, the Packers were able to put a ton of pressure on Teddy Bridgewater. Green Bay was able to rack up six sacks on the day and they need that type of production to continue moving forward. Putting pressure on Jay Cutler normally is a good thing and can force turnovers, which is what Green Bay desperately needs.
4. Will James Jones Be a Legitimate No. 1 Target Again?
Another question mark heading into this past week against Minnesota was whether or not James Jones could bounce back from a rough few weeks. He did just that with a six catch, 106 yard and one touchdown performance. Green Bay needs him to be a legitimate No. 1 target for the Packers against Chicago's poor secondary and it will be intriguing to see if he is able to do that.
5. Can Green Bay's Coaching Staff Come Together?
Perhaps the biggest issue for the Packers' offense this season has been the coaching staff being much different from last season. They are not on the same page and Rodgers has shown major frustration with Tom Clements' play calling. That has to change for the Packers to get back on track and become the dangerous offense that they know they can be.
