Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is upset that his team has lost three straight games, but he is not changing anything about his preparation leading up to this week's game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Despite the three straight losses against the Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers and Detroit Lions, Rodgers is not allowing himself to panic and change anything. According to a report from Mike Clemens, Rodgers is following his advice from last season and simply relaxing despite the frustration.
Needless to say, this is the right move by Rodgers. He is the leader of his team and he cannot afford to let his teammates see that he is nervous about the last three games. Green Bay did lose the games, but they are still 6-3 on the season and are in the playoff race.
Rodgers hasn't played as well as he normally does, but he has still been able to put together an impressive season.
He has completed 63.3 percent of his passes this year for 2,270 yards, 21 touchdowns and just three interceptions. Those numbers are among the best quarterbacks in the NFL and certainly have him in play for the MVP award once again this season. Simply getting the defense back on track and getting him to make a few of the throws he's missing will fix the problems that the Packers are having.
Green Bay simply has to focus on getting this big division win over the Vikings. Minnesota has been playing very well this season and has a lot more talent than they have had in years past. If the Packers want to win the division, they have to come away with the head-to-head wins against them.
Expect to see Rodgers come out with razor sharp vision and with an angry drive to break this losing streak.
