Although their Voice fans were elated by the announcement that fellow cast members Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were officially dating, Wendy Williams thinks it's a huge mistake. According to BET's late night TV talk show host, there's nothing wrong with the No Doubt singer hooking up with her new cowboy boyfriend, but they should have allowed more time following their divorces, before taking things public.
They are certainly old enough to do what they want, but Wendy Williams thinks that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani made a huge mistake in letting the public know that they are definitely dating.
In her latest contribution to the November 23, issue of Life & Style, Williams makes it clear that she thinks opening up about their relationship was a misstep:
"Recent photos show Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani getting hands-on at a party.
"I'm all for these two shacking up -- they're both newly single, fresh on the dating scene, and there's no better time for Blake and Gwen to rescue each other.
"But if I were them, I'd play it cool and keep it on the DL!"
What do you think about Wendy Williams' advice?
Should Blake and Gwen have tried to keep things quiet for at least a little while longer?
Or, is it wrong to tell people they should try to hide their love away?
Let us hear what you have to say about it in the comment below.
