Wendy Williams loves that Joe Jonas seems to have found love in his 20-year-old supermodel girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, but she's afraid the former Jonas Brothers superstar is making a mistake bringing her into his business. According to BET's bewigged talk show host, Joe might have really screwed up in setting the precedent of letting the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star direct his music videos and needs to be sure not to give away so much in the future. Interestingly enough, the former radio DJ told Nicole Scherzinger that she actually deeply regretted her not working things out with her longtime boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton. And apparently, Wendy doesn't care whether Lindsay Lohan finds someone or not, just as long as she gets her life together and stays off of Instagram.
While Wendy Williams thinks that it is great that Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid seem to be in love, she believes the former Disney star is crazy to allow his girlfriend to ride his coattails for much longer.
in her latest contribution to the November 9, issue to Life & Style, Williams explains to Joe that love doesn't have to mean giving away the bank:
"Gigi Hadid helped direct boyfriend Joe Jonas and his band DNCE's new music video. It's cute the Joe gave Gigi permission to try something new, and there's no harm in working together -- as long as he's careful.
"He makes a lot of money from his music, so if I were Joe, I'd make sure Gigi's name stays off my bank account!"
While Wendy thought Joe should be careful moving forward with Gigi, Williams actually seemed to chastise Nicole Scherzinger on her show earlier this month for not being able to make it work with former boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton (via E! News):
"I was talking about the seven-year relationship that you had with that racecar driver, Lewis Hamilton, ending. And I was saying...you're 37, and I was like, 'This is a woman who spent seven years of her life breaking up and getting back together.'
"You know what I mean? Those are seven years you can never get back. And he was really wealthy!"
As far as single Lindsay Lohan is concerned, Wendy Williams doesn't seem to see a whole lot of positives.
In her L&S article Wendy took the former child star to task for desperately trying to stay relevant by copying Kanye West's announcement about running for President of the United States:
"I cannot believe Lindsay Lohan said on Instagram that she might run for President. That's the funniest joke I've ever heard.
"Lindsay, the only future you have is in acting, if you ever get back to it! Stop with the crazy antics or you will never be taken seriously."
What do you think about Joe Jonas and Gigi Hadid?
Does the popstar really need to be on guard against his 20-year-old girlfriend?
Or, is Gigi clearly the kind of girl that you can trust with your money and never have to worry about her touching a penny?
