5 Bold Predictions for Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions in NFL Week 10

Heading into NFL Week 10 action, what five bold predictions can be made for the Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?

1. Aaron Rodgers Throws for 350+ Yards and Four Touchdowns

After getting off to a slow start last week against the Carolina Panthers, Aaron Rodgers turned things on late in the game and nearly got his team back in the game. Detroit has an absolutely terrible secondary and Rodgers will throw for at least 350 yards and four touchdowns. There is no question that he is going to come out smelling blood and the Packers know that this is as close to a must-win as they could see at this stage of the season.

2. Matthew Stafford Throws Two or More Interceptions

One of the Achilles heels for the Lions this season has been the turnover issues that Matthew Stafford has had. He was even benched at one point this season due to the interceptions that he had thrown. Green Bay is able to get to the quarterback quite a bit and has playmakers in their secondary, which will translate to two or more interceptions this week.

3. James Starks Rushes for 85+ Yards and a Touchdown as Starter

Eddie Lacy has had a terrible season and there is a good chance that his overweight frame is the reason for those struggles. Mike McCarthy and the coaching staff has decided to start James Starks at running back this week. He will come through with at least 85 yards and a touchdown in the start and be a major playmaker for the Packers' offense.

4. Calvin Johnson Catches At Least Two Touchdown Passes

While the Lions are going to struggle with some turnovers if our predictions are correct, Calvin Johnson is still going to have a good game. He will catch at least two touchdown passes on the night and be a major playmaker against the Green Bay defense. Stafford will have to look to Johnson early and often throughout the game and he will make some plays for his quarterback.

5. Green Bay Pulls a Convincing Win to Move to 7-2

Following two straight losses, the Packers are going to come out strong and put up a convincing win over the Lions. Detroit doesn't have many advantages at any position and Rodgers is going to put up a big game for the offense. Green Bay needs this win in a big way and the Lions don't have enough talent to send them to their third straight loss.

Overview

Expect this game to be controlled by the Packers from the beginning and to see them take out their anger from the past two weeks against the Lions. It should be competitive throughout the majority of the game, but Green Bay should be controlling it.
