New ‘Arrow’ Spoilers: Atom Brandon Routh Returns After ‘Constantine’ Crossover

Spoiler Alert: Tonight, Arrow is all new tonight. Last week we saw John Constantine (Matt Ryan) crossover to Star City. Tonight, the hunt for The Atom, Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). Check the report below for a look at tonight’s all new episode.

The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Arrow, titled “Lost Souls,” reads:

“Felicity becomes frantic when she learns Ray is alive and being held by Damien Darhk. Felicity's guilt over not finding Ray sooner causes tension between her and Oliver. Meanwhile, Sara joins Laurel, Thea and the team on a rescue mission to free Ray. However, the effects of the Lazarus Pit take over and threaten to jeopardize the entire operation.”

Ray Palmer is going to be a big part in the upcoming spin-off series Legends of Tomorrow, but the immortal Damien Darhk will also be a presense.

Arrow showrunner, Wendy Mericl recently sat down with Comicbook.com about how Darhk will factor into all three shows:

“The cross-pollination that's been happening between the three shows has been really interesting to watch and be a part of. It certainly was very much rooted in what he was doing. Especially in the premiere. From the beginning, he just has been an amazing presence on-camera, but also an amazing presence off camera. He's a great guy to work with. The height of professionalism. I think it was just a combination of the performance and who he is and the fun of seeing someone that we've only introduced just this season on Arrow. Seeing him show up on the other shows so quickly I think was something we hadn't done before. It seemed exciting.”

Be sure to tune into the all new episode of Arrow, tonight at 8:00 p.m. eastern on The CW.
