The John Constantine and 'Arrow' Crossover You Wanted is Finally Here, Thank You!

John Constantine will guest star on Arrow this Wednesday, as Hellblazers can once again rejoice that Matt Ryan will once again don that all-to-familiar trench coat and become the character he was born to be.

The day is finally upon us. Fans of the cancelled show Constantine will get to see their beloved Matt Ryan step into the shoes of John Constantine and crossover with Stephen Amell's Arrow to rid the world of one last Demon. This will be a sad day for some, because it will likely be the last time that Matt Ryan will play the character. When the show was cancelled back in May, there was hope that it would get picked up for a second season by another network. Unfortunately that day never came.

Check out the official promo for the Arrow episode below:

A quick episode synopsis reads, "When things take a turn for the worse with Sara, Oliver calls in a favor from an old friend who deals in the mystical, John Constantine," courtesy of IO9. This episode is going to be great, and the best part is going to be watching the interaction between Amell and Ryan's characters. Amell's Queen is a silent, brooding hero, while Ryan's Constantine is a snarky, sarcastic asshole, with nothing to lose. It will be epic, to say the least.

Matt Ryan also has a special message for Hellblazers in the video below, from ComicbookMovie:

As you might know, I was one of those faithful followers of Constantine. I lobbied, I tweeted, I spread the word the best I could, but still got nothing in return. With the loss of Constantine from my shows list, I feel robbed. I have only felt this way once before, and it was with Firefly. I have We will not reopen that wound today, but it will be nice to get a little something back, even if it is in just one episode. Thank you CW, Stephen Amell, and Matt Ryan for making this happen. Until next time, Hellblazers.
