Both of these teams like to get the basketball up the court and are going to put on a great show for the fans this evening. Western Conference basketball is always entertaining, especially when two young and up-and-coming teams face off against each other.
Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight have been playing at a very high level for the Suns so far this season. They are one of the best back-court duos in the NBA and are going to give the Kings some trouble this evening. Phoenix is also going to rely on Markieff Morris to put up some points in the front-court and Tyson Chandler to defend the basket and rebound.
Sacramento is all about getting DeMarcus Cousins the basketball and letting him go to work. He won't play this evening, however, which will force other players to step up in his place. Rajon Rondo is the leader of the team at the point guard position and will likely be asked to score a good number of points tonight as well.
Unfortunately for the Kings, without Cousins they don't stand much of a chance at beating the Suns.
Phoenix may be 2-2 on the season with some concern surrounding them, but they are still a quality basketball team. Sacramento could shock us and come out firing without Cousins, but that doesn't seem like a very likely scenario.
We're going to go ahead and predict that the Suns will come out on top in a high scoring game.
Phoenix vs. Sacramento Final Score Prediction: Suns 109, Kings 96
