Since attacking them on Twitter didn't seem to work, it looks like John Stamos and the rest of the Fuller House cast are willing to do just about anything to get Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen to reconsider joining the their Netflix reboot. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Grandfathered actor is worried that the new TV show is just not going to work with without the twins that made the original series so famous. Word has it that although, both sisters have officially retired from acting, they are thinking about reprising their old role just to appease their disappointed fans.
Despite the fact that they have resigned just about every original Full House cast member to the Netflix series reboot, word has it that the show just doesn't work without the Olsen Twins.
The behind-the-scenes source that Radar Online spoke to insists that John Stamos is particularly worried that the new show is destined to fail unless the can convince Mary-Kate and Ashley to join the cast:
"John is starting to worry right now about the future of the show because production is not going as well as everyone had hoped it would...It is just starting to feel hokey.
"John and the rest of the cast are going to do what they were so against doing and approach the Olsen twins again with another offer."
According to the spy, Stamos may find the Olsen's a little more willing to come aboard, though it reportedly has little to do with his silver tonged negotiating tactics:
"Mary Kate and Ashley had a change of heart about a month ago because of the backlash that they got from fans and now they are considering taking part after all."
One source in the latest September 7, issue of Star claims that if Stamos is really interested in calming the nerves of his fellow producers, he would stop accompanying his friends to the bar:
"John still loves going out with his buddies, even though he doesn't drink.
"His bosses want him to cut some of these guys out and focus on sobriety, but John says he is not throwing his friends under the bus just to make them happy."
In the end, insists the insider, John has more riding on his two new shows' success than just about anyone else involved in the projects:
"John is 52, and these shows are either going to prove that he's a relevant, vital actor...or push him into has-been territory.
"It's a crucial time in John's life."
What do you think about the Olsen Twins' deciding to pass on Fuller House?
Should Mary-Kate and Ashley have a little more respect for the series that made the famous?
Or, should the rest of the cast just be happy that the Olsen's were nice enough to launch all their careers the first time around?
