‘Fuller House’ John Stamos Talks Firing Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen? [NEWS]

It might seem like pure fiction in the trailer for Lifetime's Unauthorized Full House Story, but John Stamos admits that he did actually try to have twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, fired from the series when they were just little babies. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Fuller House producer/cast member wanted children that seemed more camera ready at the time, but quickly had to admit that the other kids just weren't cute enough to cut it.

Despite his heartwarming portrayal of Uncle Jesse on the Full House, John Stamos was recently forced to admit that he didn't necessarily want Mary-Kate and Ashley playing the role of Michele on the show.

When the subject of his trying to get the girls fired form the show came up during the Television Critics Association summer press tour, Stamos explained that it was only quite reluctantly that he agreed that they needed the Olsen's (via E! Online):

"It is sort of true that the Olsen twins cried a lot. It was very difficult to get the shots...That's actually 100 percent accurate.

"They brought in a couple unattractive redheaded kids, and we tried that for a while, and that didn't work.

"I said, 'Alright, get the Olsen twins back!' and that's the story."

It seems that the Olsen Twins might also have a few skeletons hiding in their closet, now that the girls are being sued for their clothing companies' alegedly withholding payment from their interns.

Aspiring designer, Shahista Lalani, who interned for the Olsen's high-end label The Row in 2015, explains in the latest August 31, issue of Star magazine that in addition to not get paid, she was subjected to physically exhausting hours in a hostile work environment:

"You're like an employee, except you are not getting paid.

"I was doing the work of three interns...You don't get a set 15-minute break; you just go with their crazy flow.

"I'd see lots of kids crying doing coffee runs."

Although Mark-Kate and Ashley are never mentioned by name in the lawsuit, one insider told the tabloid that that was because the twins are never actually at any of their businesses:

"They rarely go to the office.

"You can be sure that they never heard of these interns until this lawsuit."

What do you think about John Stamos being the only reason that Mary-Kate and Ashley became stars on Full House?

Should the girls go ahead and give their ole Uncle Jesse a little taste of their billion dollar clothing empire, while they are dolling at the back pay to the former interns, as a thank you for making them who they are today?

Or, could that be the reason they refused his offer to join the new Fuller House cast in the first place?
