New ‘Full House’ TV Show Gets ‘TBBT’ Boost after Ashly Olsen Retires from Acting?

Before John Stamos went off all half-cocked on Twitter calling the Olsen Twins, Mary Kate and Ashley, out for not jumping for joy at the news that he had landed a Full House reboot deal with Netflix, perhaps he should have bothered to find out if the billionaire fashionistas are even working in Hollywood any longer. Had their Uncle Jesse being paying as close attention to the girls public statements back in 2012 like he is today, Rebecca Romijn's ex-husband would know that Ashley officially retired from acting years ago. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Fuller House reboot isn't exactly doomed without Michelle Tanner, however. Dave Coulier announced via Instagram that not only will he be returning as Uncle Joey, he'll be bringing The Big Bang Theory's hit director, Mark Cendrowski, with him to the new TV show.

It makes perfect sense that that John Stamos decided to publically apologizing for trying to pressure Mark Kate and Ashley Olsen into reprising their original Full House, reports In Touch in their May 18, issue, being that Ashley Olsen officially retired from showbusiness way back in 2012:

"I don't like to be the center of attention anymore."

Realizing that they have to move on without Michelle helping out to raise her sister's kids, Netflix has also hired Dave Coulier to reprise his role as Uncle Joey with director Mark Cedrowski coming on board to bring his Big Bang comedic eye to the series -- as evidenced by Out of Control's star's Instagram update from earlier in the week:

"Yes, I'll be on the Fuller House reunion.

"And this guy, Mark Cendrowski will be directing. #cutitout"

Candace Cameron, who has been attached to the new project since ahe was announced as the series titular single mom, explained that the new name was going to be a constant reminder of the untimely death of her character's husband as well as a call back to the old ABC show (via The Daily Beast):

"The reason the show is called Fuller House is because D.J.'s married name is 'Fuller.'

"She married Tommy Fuller, and he's the one that passed away, so she's left to raise three boys.

"She's a little overwhelmed and newly pregnant when we first see her, so knowing she has a baby on the way and these two boys, she asks her sister and best friend to come move in and help her raise her kids."

Let's just hope they let Bob Saget work blue on the series the way he does in everything else he's cast in these days.
