Hilary Duff has dumped her husband, Mike Combie, and is now staging a comeback -- staring in a new show for TV Land and supposedly planning a reality show that will follow the Younger star's Tinder escapades. BET's late night talks how host, Wendy Williams, thinks that the dating app is a good for both celebrities and civilians alike, but publicly cautioned Lizzie McGuire that she might not won't to alert every deranged sociopath in the greater Hollywood area there is a new way to try track her down. Speaking of comebacks -- the wig wearing gossip queen also thinks Fuller House producer and costar, John Stamos, might want to think twice about begging the Olsen Twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley, to join the cast of his new Netflix reboot.
After former Disney child star, Hilary Duff, announced that she had, in fact, recently joined Tinder after filing for divorce from her soon-to-be ex-husband, Mike Combie, at the beginning of the year, TMZ reported that it looked like single mom was hoping to make a buck off the whole process to boot:
"She's shooting footage of all her dates setup through the app [Tinder]...and there's a chance it could turn into a reality show.
"Hilary plans to shoot more footage as she dives into the dating world ... and hopes to use it to develop a reality show -- that would focus on her life as a new divorcée.
"Think 'Stella' getting her groove back...but whiter."
While Wendy Williams explained in her latest contribution to the May 18, issue of Life & Style that she doesn't begrudge the 26-year-old heartbreaker for joining the dating app, she wonders how smart it was announcing as much to the world:
"I love dating websites and apps...I love them for regular people, and I love them for celebrities.
"But the one thing that I don't love it that Hilary decided to let everyone know about it!
"Now all the crazies and stalkers will come out...Watch your back, girl!"
Already on the topic on making poor public statements in the new L&S article, Wendy next turns her attention to John Stamos calling out and then apologizing to Mary-Mate and Ashley Olsen on Twitter for supposedly not wanting to reprise their shared Full House role for his Netflix spin-off:
"I can't believe John Stamos even wants the Olsen twins to appear in the Full House reboot.
"They're so serious, with their cheeks sucked in and their eyes drawn.
"Those girls lost their funny bones years ago!"
Well, if they hadn't you'd be able to see it poking through their skin.
