John Stamos isn't just a Hollywood mover and shaker, the Fuller House producer is a social media juggernaut. According to the latest gossip news updates, Rebecca Romjin's ex-husband has announced via Twitter that he mended fences with his old co-star Mary-Kate Olsen after first using the app to insult her. Bob Saget's TV brother-in-law also called out the Lifetime channel's plans to make a tell-all movie about the family friendly sitcom -- sarcastically wishing them the best of luck.
It's cute that 51-year-old John Stamos is social media savvy and completely proficient in Twitter, but the Full House alum has got to learn to slow his roll before he gets labeled a Hollywood troll.
When word first went around a week ago that Netflix was launching a spin-off of the classic family show from the 90s, entitled Fuller House, everyone wanted to know if twin sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were going to be in it.
But they claimed to be as clueless as everyone else when talking to Women's Wear Daily about the possibility of reprising their role on the reboot (via Us Weekly):
"We just found out about it today.
"I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening."
That's when, in stepped executive producer and longtime friend, John Stamos, to call the lady a liar by way of his fancy Twitter account.
Apparently the stereotypical hot head was all apologies a few days later once he felt he gotten that rage thoroughly out of his system.
Although, she advised fans not to hold their breaths waiting for the news that Mary-Kate and Ashley would be making an appearance, Candace Cameron, did reveal the core cast that had already signed on board in the May 11, issue of Life & Style:
"[D.J. Tanner] is now widowed with two boys, and she's pregnant with her third.
"So, she asks her sister Stephanie [Jodie Sweetin] and her best friend Kimmy [Andrea Barber], to come help her raise her boys."
Perhaps, she should keep Uncle Jesse at a healthy distance from the boys until he learns to work on his anger issues.
Upon hearing the news that Lifetime planned to make a scathing tell-all movie about the original cast's time together, Stamos once again got snippy on Twitter:
No wonder the Olsen twins are thinking up any excuse possible to get out of their Fuller House cameo duties.
