Sidharth Malhotra, he who thinks Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif have the best bikini bodies in Bollywood, is in the rumor mill but just not for that opinion. He is rumored as a possible replace Hrithik Roshan in the sequel to the action film Bang Bang. The sequel, Bang Bang 2, is in preproduction but neither Roshan nor Kaif, at this point, appear as if they are to reprise their roles for the sequel. However, Jacqueline Fernandez, the third member of Malhotra's best bikini body list, is rumored to be replacing Kaif.
Let's start with the bikini comments. Malhotra was in New Delhi attending an event when the question of who has the best bikini body in Bollywood was asked. He had this to say courtesy of Zee News, "I think in Bollywood, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez have the best bikini body". No big deal, right? Well, kinda. Alia Bhatt, long rumored to be Malhotra's girlfriend, has a scene in an upcoming film where she appears in a bikini. Perhaps he saw a chance for some free film publicity in the rumor mill?
As for Bang Bang 2, Hrithik Roshan is headed to Hollywood to do an as of yet unnamed movie and is thus unable to do the sequel. Kaif is busy as well. Malhotra has neither confirmed nor denied his involvement in the project. On Gulfnews, he is quoted as saying, "As of now nothing is so concrete or official for me to say anything. There are a few more weeks and months. Whenever things are confirmed, we will make an official announcement. There are talks going on but nothing's official." With talks still ongoing, it's probably only a matter of time before Malhotra is signed. Be that as it may, many will still be disappointed that the combo of Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, who were electric in the first one won't be back.
