It looks like her fling with Zac Efron may not have been enough to help Fast & Furious 8 star Michelle Rodriguez get over her feelings for ex-girlfriend, Cara Delevingne. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Resident Evil bad girl has been calling her Suicide Squad ex every time she gets drunk, despite the well-known fact that Delevingne is currently dating rocker St. Vincent, aka Annie Clark. In a related story, it seems certain that Helen Mirren will really be joining the cast of the new move. Vin Diesel explained that the legendary Dame might even wind up playing Jason Statham's mother.
It could not be more apparent that Cara Delevingne has moved on from whatever she might have once shared with Michelle Rodriguez, but word has it the Fast and Furious starlet definitely can't say the same.
One source in the latest August 31, issue of Star magazine reveals that in recent weeks Cara has been receiving late night phone calls from Michelle asking where it all went wrong:
"Michelle misses Cara and has been calling her late at night after she's had a few drinks, begging to meet up.
"Cara was genuinely in love with Michelle, but at this point, she's moved on."
According to the informant, Cara would call the whole thing off, but truth be told, she really doesn't mind driving Michelle wild with desire:
"Michelle didn't treat her that well when things ended. So there's a small part of Cara that's actually enjoying all the attention."
While Rodriguez didn't have much to say about her relationship with Cara during her recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the bi-sexual action icon was all for talking about how high the bar has been set for the new Fast 8 film:
"Whatever the storyline is, it needs to be relevant. I think there's only so many times that you can keep repeating history.
"What happened with Fast 7, I don't want to say it's a fluke, but people came out of the woodwork to show love for Paul, and that's something you're not going to have in the equation with the next one.
"Whatever it is that they cook up needs to touch the hearts and souls of people."
For his part, Vin Diesel has all but confirmed that Dame Helen Mirren will be joining the cast for the next installment in the franchise.
Vin wouldn't go as far as to give away anything about the plot, but Riddick promised ET he would find a place for the revered English actress:
"There are so many options!
"You've got Nathalie Emmanuel's mother.
"You've got, of course, the matriarch to the Shaw brothers!"
Maybe Michelle can even talk Vin into casting Cara so she can have one more shot at winning Delevingne's devotion.
