Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor and the Media Circus of Their Life

Katrina Kaif is denying she tried to crash the wrap party of her boyfriend/fiance/yoga instructor Ranbir Kapoor's new movie Tamasha, which co-starred Kapoor's ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone. Both Padukone and Kapoor were in attendance at the party but Kaif was left out. Given that her and Padukone are rumored not to get along with each other, this is probably not the biggest surprise. Still, Kaif deemed it necessary to deny the rumor personally. The media circus surrounding the two is almost surreal in its tone.

"'This is really bad kind of news. It is not true that I went. Honestly, if you ask me after being in the industry for so many years such news is irrelevant to me. I am happy doing my work. What I wonder is who is coming up with such negative news? Who is this unhappy person?' asked Kaif" according to The Indian Express.

Katrina goes on to rationalize her lack of appearance at the wrap party in the same article, "It was not a usual party. It was a wrap up party of a movie that I am not a part of."

This, of course, coincides with an odd chapter in the Ranbir Kapoor/Katrina Kaif relationship. The internet was abuzz when news leaked out that Kapoor had proposed to Kaif on her birthday. Just recently, Kapoor seemed to fly out of Kaif's orbit and back into ex-girlfriend Padukone's.

Of course, in all of this, The Daily Mail India has the best summation yet of the whole affair. They said, "The Ranbir-Katrina 'romance' is turning out more convoluted than the most hackneyed Bollywood pot-boiler scripts, with the celeb duo clearly revelling in giving contradictory signals to the media and fans."

Whether they are in an actual romance, no one can be quite sure. However, when your boyfriend/fiancé /back scratcher's mom cuts you out a holiday family photo, your days might just be numbered.
