Mariah Carey Boyfriend James Packer Dating Ex; Nick Cannon Talks Single Life?

Apparently, James Packer didn't get the message that when you are with Mariah Carey the only women you better be taking out on any sort of date had better be her. According to the latest gossip news updates the "Hero" singer is furious with her new billionaire boyfriend for attending a charity benefit with his ex-wife, Jodhi Meares. Perhaps, it's that kind of controlling attitude that has Nick Cannon so happy to be a bachelor again. The America's Got Talent host recently explained, however, that what he loves most about living in his new home is how different it is from the house in the projects where he grew up.

As infamous as Mariah Carey is for demanding attention fropm her men, it is no wonder that Mimi is said to be freaking out over the news that James Packer was recently seen out with his ex-wife, Jodhi Meares.

One source in the latest August 24, issue of In Touch Weekly claims that when Mariah saw the photographic evidence of their night out, she almost blew a head gasket:

"Mariah was furious when she saw pictures of her boyfriend arm-in-arm with his ex.

"She is very upset.

While it has to be nice to be able to take whomever he wants wherever he wants without fear of reprisal, now that he is single, Nick Cannon told Us Weekly, that what he loves most about his new bachelor digs is how far it is from where he originally grew up:

"To be able to have a lawn and a lake in the back -- stuff like that. I grew up in the projects, so I didn't really get the opportunity to have any of that growing up.

"Even in the city. My kids kind of get to experience both worlds."

Despite Nick's clearly having moved on from their marriage, Cannon's America's Got Talent costar, Howie Mandell, thought it would be funny to tease his about it anyways in a moment the comedian captured on Instagram:

"Wait until @nickcannon wakes up to see collage I made him."
