It looks like James Packer just may be the answers to all of Mariah Carey's prayers. In addition to supposedly asking her to marry him, word has it that her Australian boyfriend might be able to do something about the Infinity singer's recent weight again as well. According to the latest gossip news updates, Mariah's new man is offering to pay for her to have gastric-bypass surgery. While Nick Cannon may have been more than happy with his soon-to-be ex-wife's size, Packer is reportedly offering to put up the funds for the operation as well as personally nurse Carey back to health. Perhaps, Packer's 4.2 billion net worth is enough to not only seduce the "Butterfly" beauty, but it might be even be fortune enough to give Mariah back her early 90s body to boot.
Despite being still being treated as sex-symbol in some circles there is just no denying that at 45-years-old, Mariah Carey doesn't exactly have the body she did a couple decades ago.
One source in the latest August 17, issue of Star magazine insists that after dropping 75-pounds following his successful gastric-bypass surgery back in 2011, Mariah's new boyfriend, James Packer, is suggesting that Carey might feel better is she too had her stomach stapled:
"She and James love food...Pasta with truffles, butter-drenched lobster, cakes -- you name it, they indulge in it.
"He said that the surgery wasn't a cure-all, but it's definitely kept his weight from spiraling out of control."
According to the informant, James has even gone as far to promise Mariah that he will be there to personally wait on her hand-and-foot during her recovery:
"James even offered to pay for the surgery and take care of her while she recovered!"
It's said that since meeting Mariah her new boyfriend has offered to do a lot more than just pay for her plastic surgery.
The super-sleuths at TMZ claim that Packer has even proposed to the new love of his life, regardless of her still very much being married at the moment to Nick Cannon (via Inquisitr):
"They've been 'dating' for just a matter of days, but he's already told her he wants to marry her, sooner rather than later.
"The soonest can be when she's officially divorced from Nick Cannon.
"But we're told Mariah is open to tying the knot with James."
What do you think about the idea of Mariah possibly getting Lap-Band surgery just to battle her middle-age pudge?
Is it about time Mariah did something about the shape she's in these days?
Or, should Carey comfort herself instead in the knowledge that Aretha Franklin would never entertain the idea of having her stomach stapled?
