Salman Khan has had more than his fair share of girlfriends. He is, after all, rich, good looking and packing more muscle than legally allowed in some countries. He is Bollywood's number one heartthrob and its most eligible bachelor. At his core, King Khan is an old softie. His old flames never burn out, with one exception Aishwarya Rai, with whom he allegedly still feuds.
Despite his reputation as a bad boy, Salman manages to keep 99% of his exes satisfied. If their names come up, it is because of Salman. Even his rocky relationship with Katrina Kaif turned out amicably. A couple of backhanded compliments and Salman slapping Katrina, so rumors say, have done nothing to diminish their friendship. Salman has transcended the awkwardness of his failed relationships and forged new meaningful relationships.
Aishwarya is the rare exception. They met on the set of a movie, which happened to go on to be the hit of the year, fell in love, and their lives began to be splashed across the gossip pages. Salman's temper reportedly made it difficult for Aishwarya to find work. Confrontations on the various sets she worked on caused producers to wary of working with her. Shah Rukh Khan tried to intervene but became the focal point of Salman's fury .
Aishwarya accused Salman of harassment, allegedly breaking some windows and furniture in her apartment. She felt Salman couldn't accept that the relationship was over:
"The Salman Khan chapter was a nightmare in my life and I am thankful to god that it is over. I have maintained a dignified silence about him and his wrong doings, but he has repeatedly attacked the respect, dignity and pride of me and my family with irresponsible rumor mongering".
It came to an end as all things do. Salman Khan's inner demons ran over the relationship and damaged it beyond repair.
