With the couple publicly fawning over one another in recent interviews it seems hard to believe that any of the rumors from late last year that Charlize Theron and her fiancé Sean Penn were in danger of splitting while filming The Last Face were true, the Mystic River Oscar winner's girlfriend confirmed that making a movie together tested their relationship in ways that she hadn't thought possible. According to the latest gossip news updates, the couple have since put their South African past behind them and are now looking to adopt a little brother or sister for her son, Jackson, just as soon as they can.
After keeping quiet about their relationship for months, Sean Penn and Charlize Theron are publicly embracing reports that they are happily and deeply in love.
One source claiming to be close to the couple insists in the May 18, issue of In Touch Weekly that Theron is even more deadset on adopting now that she's got her soul mate sold on the idea:
"She's always wanted another baby...but ever since meeting Sean, the plan has been on fast rack.
According to the spy, Sean might have been a little hesitant about becoming a new father again when this whole thing first started, but after spending so much time with Charlize's son, he can't help but think that having one more child has to be a good decision:
"He's definitely on board to raise another child with Charlize.
"Jackson has turned him into the biggest softie."
Charlize recently told Elle that the making of The Last Face almost smothered their relationship before it really had time to flourish thanls to the unique demands it caused them to put on one another.
Although, she and Sean kept deadly silent about their onsets trouble while the international gossip mill was telling the world all about the big-budget blowouts from their time together in South Africa, Theron recently admitted that it was true that they were not getting as long near as well on the job as either one of them had previously hoped (via Time):
"Putting aside that he's my partner, he's the love of my life; for the first time, I felt that my work was really bleeding into my life, and that made it hard.
"There were moments where I was incredibly unfair to him. And moments where I felt like ... he was incredibly unfair to me.
"But it makes you realize that no matter how complicated it gets, the priority is the relationship."
It's a good thing they got all that out of the way before they decided to have a baby.
