Many people have many different opinions of Comedy Central star Jon Stewart. However, no matter which side of the debate you are on, Jon's impact on the world of comedy and politics is clearly visible. In recent news, the network funny man has found himself tangled up in a feud with WWE's Seth Rollins. The highflyer even made an appearance on The Daily Show, so he could confront Stewart for talking trash. Some have rumored that the infamous comedian might actually accept Rollin's invitation to appear on Monday Night Raw. Even if Jon gets murdered in the ring, his contribution to our nation will never be forgotten.
Before his time as a public figure, Jon was a simple student at the College of William & Mary. However, he never really seemed to need his degree in psychology.
Instead, the up-and-comer pursued a career as a stand-up comedian. At the time, Jon had no idea that he would be one of the world's greatest satirists one day.
Over the years, Jon has worn many different hats, and he has been involved in more than a handful of controversial matters.
However, in the end, Jon always seems to come out on top. Yet, a report by TMZ Sports points out that even our nation's brightest stars take a beating from time to time:
"Jon Stewart wanted a piece...HE GOT THE PIECE!!!! WWE superstar Seth Rollins hijacked Stewart's 'Moment of Zen' on The Daily Show Thursday night...in response to the smack talk video that Stewart recently made. But Rollins didn't just talk the talk ... he then snuck up behind Jon and put him in a HEADLOCK!!! Rollins [fulfilled a promise]...when he said he'd whoop Jon's ass for running his mouth earlier this month."
To some, it seems strange to see The Daily Show star in such high spirits as his legendary show nears its end. According to The Daily Beast, though, he has earned the right to keep his head held high:
"Jon Stewart has made plenty of noise in the political world down the years...but a satirist has his limits. But when a bill to help 9/11 first responders who came down with chronic illnesses as a result of their work at Ground Zero was blocked by Senate Republicans-and the news networks completely ignored it...[Jon] sprang into action. He lampooned the parties involved and had a number of first responders offer their views on [the] national disgrace."
