Leading ladies Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande from "Wicked" are already anticipating new roles.

The two discussed whether they could perform together again for a new musical endeavor on Broadway.

In 2008, Grande debuted on Broadway with "13," and in 2015, Erivo performed in "The Color Purple."

The British singer-actress stated that she is excited to try out new parts in theater and hopes to portray an undeveloped character.

In an interview with THR, Erivo explained, "I think I'm ready to try something new. I think I'm ready to try something that hasn't been written yet, something original."

She added, "I've done a lot of material that exists, revivals, and I think now is probably the time where we can find something that I can originate."

Meanwhile, Grande was enthusiastic with Erivo's idea. She eagerly shared her desire to make a comeback on stage and conveyed her willingness to audition for upcoming projects.

Grande playfully said, "I'll do anything. I'm around, and I'll send a tape. I'm kidding. No, I'm kidding. I would love to be onstage again. I would love to be onstage with [Erivo] again."

As the discussion progressed, Erivo proposed the idea of collaborating on a revival of the classic musical "Aida."

The "Thank U Next" singer's response was brimming with excitement, expressing, "I would fall out. I would die."

"Aida," the masterpiece by Elton John and Tim Rice, graced the Broadway stage for a successful run spanning from 2000 to 2004.
