Deadmau5, the pioneer of dubstep, has released new tour dates. Get your mouse head now and prep for all the strobe lights.
Joel Zimmerman, or as he is known to many, Deadmau5, will be headed back on tour shortly. His first date is a bit of an ironic one.
He will be performing at the Made in America Fest. Budweiser will be hosting the event at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, Penn.
Deadmau5 is actually of Canadian origin, however, he wants in on the star-studded lineup. There is one thing he may be unaccustomed to seeing.
His name, even the made up one, isn't receiving top billing. That distinction goes to New York City's own Beyoncé.
That didn't seem to discourage Zimmerman, who shares equal billing with Phoenix, another band of foreign origin. The much-loved indie startup is actually from France.
Other acts that day include: 2 Chainz, Empire of the Sun, Imagine Dragons, Public Enemy, Walk the Moon and A$AP Rocky.
The second day presents an equally alluring lineup, with top billing going to Trent Reznor's Nine Inch Nails, celebrating the release of their new album.
Other second day acts include: Calvin Harris, Queens of the Stone Age, Macklemore and Lewis, Wiz Khalifa, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Nero, GTA and Feed Me.
The concert, which is presented by the most famous U.S. beer producer, will take place over two days: August 31 and September 1. Tickets are currently available.
Tickets range in price from $100 to $500 and can be purchased at the events website.
