'The Walking Dead' Actress Shannon Richardson Sent Obama Ricin

Shannon Richardson, an actress who played a bit role on The Walking Dead, is being investigated for sending ricin to President Obama.

Richardson, a 35-year-old (would be) actress, is currently being investigated by the Feds. Ironically enough, it turns out that she is the one who called the FBI.

Two weeks ago, Shannon reported that her husband, Nathan Richardson, was acting suspicious. Nathan, a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, was taken in for questioning.

The call she put in to the FBI described a strange substance in their refrigerator. She went on to claim that her husband's search history included "how to make ricin."

Things quickly began to fall apart for Shannon, who is pregnant with the couple's first child. After conducting a routine polygraph, it became apparent that Shannon was lying.

Mr. Richardson was also at work when the letters were mailed. The investigators quickly put the pieces together.

But, why would someone frame their husband for a crime they didn't commit? The answer is quite simple.

In May of this year, Mr. Richardson hired John Delk, a prominent divorce attorney. Nathan made it clear that he and his wife were soon getting a divorce.

John Delk believes that his client was set up by Shannon Richardson. He issued the following statement in light of this new information:

"There are a lot of factors I'm aware of that indicate [Nathan] was set up in this deal by her."

Two letters were sent to prominent U.S. officials. President Obama received a ricin-laced letter at the White House.

Michael Bloomberg, the often controversial mayor of New York City, was also on her mailing list. His office received the same poison.

If convicted, she will face 10 years in prison.
