The Seattle Seahawks are heading to the Super Bowl in just a few days, and they will be entering the game with an army of strong athletes. Marshawn Lynch will surely be one if the soldiers drawing heads during Sunday's legendary matchup. Lynch has been generating a ton of buzz since he stated during Super Bowl Media Day that he was only there so he wouldn't be fined, highlighting the fact that Marshawn has a history of receiving excessive fines from the NFL.
Before his professional career, Lynch played college ball for the University of California, Berkeley. During his time there, he became the school's second all-time career rusher. His impressive performances earned him a spot with the Buffalo Bills during the 2007 NFL Draft.
He was traded to the Seahawks in October of 2010 for two draft picks. At that time, the Bills had no idea who they were letting go.
His time with the Hawks has been impressive and explosive. Now, Lynch, among others, have helped lead their team to yet another Super Bowl appearance.
True, Lynch is a valuable part of the Seattle machine. Still, that hasn't stopped the brute from bumping heads with authority.
According to TMZ Sports, Lynch recently poked fun at the NFL for excessive fining:

Marshawn sat in front of the microphones sporting his sunglasses and a backpack -- and repeated over and over again, 'Hey, I'm just here so I don't get fined.' He's said it at least 20 times already. NFL just fined Lynch $20k for grabbing his crotch during a TD celebration in the NFC championship game."
Lynch's history of fining goes back further than that. According to ESPN, Marshawn received a $50,000 dollar fine for ignoring the media:
"Seattle Seahawks' running back Marshawn Lynch [was] fined $50,000 for violating the NFL's media policy, the league said Wednesday. The NFL media policy mandates that players must be available to the media during the practice week at the team facility and in the locker room after all games. Lynch quickly dressed and left the team's locker room after [losing] to the Kansas City Chiefs, calmly walking away when reporters asked to speak to him..."
