Dwayne Wade and LeBron James Show Christmas Love After Miami Heat's Victory Over Cleveland Cavaliers

Dwayne Wade and LeBron James' Christmas Day face-off was the first time the two opposed each other in nearly 5 years. Even though the Heat defeated the Cavs (91-101), James and Wade still made time after the game to show each other some brotherly love. Also, it was recently reported that Wade took a staunch stand on behalf of LeBron and his decision to return to Cleveland.

In the 2003 NBA Draft, with the fifth overall pick, Miami selected shooting guard Dwyane Wade. This decision marked a new era for The Heat and the NBA Eastern Conference in general. Wade participated in his first Championship during the 2005-06 Season.

In 2010, Miami changed the face of professional basketball once again, with the signing of LeBron James. From that moment on, LeBron and Wade would take Miami to multiple NBA Playoff victories and several overall Championships.

In turn, it makes sense that such a powerful duo would stick it out, regardless of any circumstances. According to 24 Urban, James and Dwayne were not afraid to show each other some Christmas love:

"Although LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are not on the same team anymore, their friendship is far from diminishing. On Christmas night, the Miami Heat [defeated] the Cleveland Cavaliers...despite the Heat's victory, the two besties met at the center of the court and exchanged a hug and very kind words. While many thought it was all staged, the pleasantries between LeBron and Dwyane were carried over to Instagram later on. They threw light on their friendship, explaining that it goes far beyond basketball."

This hasn't been the only instance of these two bonding in recent news. According to ESPN, Wade publically supported LeBron's recent decision to return to the Cleveland Cavaliers:

"'It's tough in this league,' Wade said when asked about all the scrutiny James received for his initial decision to leave Cleveland and [then] when he decided to return there. 'When a player makes a decision, there's always backlash. But when an organization makes it, it's [perceived as] the right thing for the organization to do. And it's fine.'"
