Milwaukee Bucks O.J. Mayo Sued by Airline for Using Drugs; Predictable after 2011 Steroid Scandal?

The Milwaukee Bucks could be the worst team in NBA history. Currently, they are most well known for their new head coach, and ex-NBA All-Star, Jason Kidd. However, in recent news, their star shooting forward O.J. Mayo has been sued by an airline for not paying and using drugs on the flight. It is easy to believe he would participate in something like that, because he has a past with performance-enhancing steroids.

Before his professional career, Mayo was considered the best high school basketball player in the nation. He played one year of college ball for the University of Southern California, where he earned All-Pac 10 honors.

Then, the Minnesota Timberwolves brought him into the big-league during the 2008 NBA Draft.

After that, he was traded to the Grizzlies. While in Memphis, OJ was suspended for ten games after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. According to SB Nation, Mayo claimed he wasn't aware of his wrongdoing:

"We've all seen this story before. An athlete tests positive for a banned substance, then follows it up with the same set of excuses as the many before them: I didn't know what was in a supplement; I must've taken something tainted; I think someone slipped me something. O.J. Mayo followed the trend on Thursday after the NBA announced Mayo would be suspended for 10 games after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug."

Now, the onetime great is being sued for more drug related activities. Reported on by TMZ Sports, Mayo was using some kind of narcotics on a plane of all places:

"Milwaukee Bucks star O.J. Mayo has a $19k problem on his hands ... because a charter airline company says he didn't pony up the cash to fly -- and put the crew in danger by using "illegal narcotics"...[The] lawsuit filed by Quantum Jets ... [says] Mayo booked a flight from Houston to L.A...but couldn't pay for the entire flight...Further, they say he used illegal narcotics during the flight. The suit doesn't specify what kind of drugs....Quantum Jets is suing Mayo for $19,200 and breach of contract and negligence.
