WWE Heavyweight Champ Brock Lesnar Rejoining MMA; Will He Choose Bellator over UFC?

Brock Lesnar is one of the best-known names in the WWE and the UFC. Recent reports are suggesting that Brock is cutting weight to leave the professional wrestling organization and join the UFC once again. Others are suggesting that "The Phenom" might actually be considering Bellator over the UFC.

Lesnar is currently signed to the WWE and is even the world Heavyweight Champion. Lesnar fought in the UFC before his big upset victory (when he took the belt from longtime champion the Undertaker).

While a member of the UFC, Lesnar stacked up some pretty impressive accomplishments. For example, he defeated Randy Couture in 2008 to win the UFC Heavyweight Championship Belt.

This also made Brock the only fighter to have held championship belts in both the UFC and the WWE. In general, though, Brock has jumped from organization to organization all through his career, and according to Bleacher Report, it looks like another switch is about to happen:

"According to insiders in the WWE, Brock Lesnar's days as a professional wrestler may be winding down, and his days as a UFC heavyweight contender may just be starting back up...The WWE is currently preparing to deal with the departure of its heavyweight champion....The Lesnar people always keep things quiet, but within the company, the belief is that he's going back to UFC, and his showing up lighter to TV last week confirmed that to people who thought it."

In the end, though, the Ultimate Fighting Championship might not get Lesnar after all. According to Inquisitr, there are other promotions that would like to get their hands on the champ:

"Bellator President Scott Coker has indeed confirmed that the promotion has reached out to Brock Lesnar. Coker was sure to note there haven't been any formal negotiations, as Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, but the reach out was more of Bellator's way of "saying hello" to let Lesnar know the promotion is interested in signing him."
