Former world champion and wrestling phenom Kevin Nash has had an extremely successful wrestling career. However, in recent news, Nash was arrested in an apparently violent fight between him and his 18-year-old son. It was also reported that Kevin put pressure on his son's chest until he couldn't breathe.
Nash got his start in wrestling with WCW as part of the tag team known as the "Master Blasters."
For the next couple of years, Nash was repackaged as several different characters. He had some success, but none of it compared to what was in store with the WWE/WWF. He debuted as "The Diesel," and from there the rest is history.
Nash has a total of 21 titles; six of which are World Heavyweight Championships.
Unfortunately, though, it looks like the legend is having a rough holiday season. According to TMZ Sports, Kevin was arrested early December 24th for a violent domestic dispute:
"Wrestling superstar Kevin Nash was arrested early Christmas Eve morning -- after getting into a bloody fight with his teenage son Tristen ... The 55-year-old legend...was taken into custody in Volusia County, Florida after cops received a call about a domestic incident just after midnight. When cops arrived to the scene ... they noticed blood on Kevin's face and arrested Nash. Two hours later, cops received another 911 call from a person claiming 18-year-old Tristen attacked his mother. He was also arrested for battery."
The story gets more disturbing from there. Moreover, it is surprising that someone could be so rough with a family member. Reported on by WFTV, Nash didn't go easy on his son:
"According to the police report, Kevin Nash refused to offer a written statement or get medical attention and told the officer to 'get a subpoena' when the officer asked to take photos of his injuries..at one point, the son said Kevin Nash grabbed him by the throat and forced him to the ground, putting pressure on his chest until he couldn't breathe."
Can this excess of violence be contributed to his days in the ring? Let us know your opinions on the situation in the comment section below.
