WWE Total Diva Naomi Announces Trinity Fatu Won't Return for New Season; Good or Bad News?

WWE's Trinitity Fatu, a.k.a. Naomi, has been with the hit show Total Divas for the past three seasons. However, she recently went on Twitter, and announced that she wouldn't be back for the rest of the third season premiering in January 2015. However, according to some, the hit E! program is a hindrance to the division anyway.

It is true that Naomi is one of the sexiest Divas to enter the ring, but she is more than that.

Her talents also include dancing, modeling and singing. In 2010 she came in second place during the third season of NXT. Then in 2012, she and fellow Diva, Cameron, formed a tag team called the Funkadactlys.

Since then, though, Naomi has been plastered on TV's across the world on the ever-popular program, Total Divas.

Unfortunately, Cage Side Seats recently reported that the highflying star went on Twitter to announce she wouldn't be returning:

"For many fans who've been asking I am no longer apart of the #Total Divas cast (not by choice) I still support my girls and I'm excited...For the new season! No official announcement has been made and no one has alluded to what the motivations there were behind this move. When it was revealed a couple months back that Paige and Alicia Fox would be joining the cast, Naomi and Summer were included in promotional materials."

For Naomi and Total Diva fans, this is disappointing news. Also, the question remains: Who's choice was it? In the end, though, this may not be terrible news.

According to Bleacher Report, the series actually holds back the diva's division:

"The company is ensuring that its Divas division fails so that the reality show may succeed. It's a backward way of thinking, adjusting its primary programming to suit a supplementary offering...The result is a narrative mess that features some of the least talented wrestlers WWE has ever employed...Even less logical is how WWE has attempted to have storylines from the reality show lead into angles that play out on Raw and SmackDown."
