Tito Ortiz is one of the most well known names in the UFC. However, almost more well known is his ongoing feud with UFC President Dana White. In recent new, Ortiz actually compliments White for the wise decision of signing former WWE star CM Punk.
Tito stepped foot onto the Mixed Martial Arts scene during UFC 13. Ortiz didn't really make a name for himself until he fought Ken Shamrock for the Light Heavyweight Championship at UFC 22.
Also, his match ups with Chuck Liddell and Forest Griffin have become legendary.
More interesting still is Ortiz's beef with UFC head honcho, Dana White. According to Bleacher Report, the spat didn't take place until after Tito's time with The Ultimate Fighter:
"The relationship between Tito Ortiz and Dana White has remained one of the most combustible situations in mixed martial arts for more than a decade...He was consistently involved in some of the biggest matchups that took place during the UFC boom in the aftermath of The Ultimate Fighter. It was during this period when a rift between the former light heavyweight title holder and the UFC President began to surface, and the feud has continued at various levels of intensity ever since..."
Tito has even suggested that White will not let things go, and he feels like Dana treats him like an ex-girlfriend. According to TMZ Sports, Tito is singing a different song in his most recent interview:
"Tito Ortiz just fired off some COMPLIMENTS about his bitter rival Dana White -- praising the UFC boss for signing CM Punk...despite the feud, Tito knows a good business decision when he sees it ... and that signing former WWE champ CM Punk is a solid move for the UFC. 'They're making money...It's great for them.' The 39-year-old fighter also updated us on his own career -- saying he's finally calling it quits next year..."
