Word has it that surly America's Got Talent producer, Simon Cowell may be relocating once again to launch X Factor USA for a second time. According to the latest gossip news updates, the entertainment mogul, who is rumored to be engaged to baby mama Lauren Silverman, is currently being wooed back to America by Fox execs. Any move right now seems rather ridiculous considering the state of the UK version of the show. Cowell already announced that he would be making major changes to the show in Britain after his much anticipated return failed to stop a four year ratings slide. So you have to ask yourself, at this point which X Factor is America even trying to buy -- the current broken format or the yet to be tested version that Simon is currently trying to cook up. Si claims that if he gets the new concepts off the ground he may not be able invite back all the judge, but he can't get rid of Mel B. Besides being one of the few black people that has ever even been on the show, what other bi-sexual Spice Girl can you find to regale audiences with tales of their gay lesbian love affairs from days gone by -- hopefully all of them.
After just a short time apart, it looks like a love struck Fox is ready to get back into bed with Britian's own, Simon Cowell.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the American network has a sickness, and the cure is Simon Cowell:
"FOX is looking to get back into the Simon Cowell business.
"The mega-producer is being courted by Fox TV Group chairmen and CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman to return."
The real question is why in the world would anyone want to bring on a show like X Factor, when it has been dying the death of a thousand cuts week after week in Britain for years?
The reality competion now enjoys only half the ratings it had at its height of popularity in 2010 -- the same year he Si brought the now defunct show to the US.
During a recent interview with the Guardian, Cowell explained that he had a plan to save the show in England, and it involved a major overall in the overall concept:
"I have a vision in my head of what it should be and what the audience will respond to...It is a show I would love to be on.
"If it goes the way I want it to go, it would be a very different show to judge than we have ever done before... Things have to change."
Well, if anything that should be great news for current judge and former Spice Girl, Mel B, who isn't afraid to drastically change this up.
During a recent discussion sited in Us Weekly's December 22, issue Mel admitted that she had a long term committed relationship with Christa Parker back in the day:
"I had a girlfriend. So What?
"I have a huge libido and a great sex life."
Really makes you wonder what was really going on on that tour bus.
