Engaged Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman Move Baby to US after ‘X Factor’ TV Show Cancelled in UK? [NEWS UPDATE]

It been less than a year since Simon Cowell moved his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, and his baby boy, Eric, to England so he could return to the X-Factor UK, but it might be time to pack the whole famn damily and head back to US once again. According to the latest gossip news updates, the engaged music mogul is very close to making a deal that would bring the show back to the United States. The One Direction manager has admitted in the past that he regretted cancelling the struggling Fox TV show/singing competition despite its lagging ratings, and now Si may be getting that second chance to make things right.

Entertainment mogul Simon Cowell isn't one to give up on a project once he starts it, so his half-hearted attempt at making the X-Factor work on the other side of the pond was still haunting the TV personality when he spoke to the Financial Times last month.

Simon explained that deep down he wished he had stayed in the States until the show really took off, but at the time it seemed like he was better off going where he was actually wanted (via Digital Spy):

"I think, on both sides, it was a mistake to throw the towel in.

"I felt I'd rather be doing a show where we're wanted [in the UK] than pushing something uphill."

Thankfully, just the right set of stars seem to be aligning to ensure a favorable outcome for his new X-Factor USA deal, which would have the executive producer and his family moving back to the States.

A inside source told the UK's Sun that Cowell was on the precipice of inking a new deal that would have Si and his once cancelled show back on in the US (via Metro):

"This is obviously fantastic news for Simon -- all of the talks are going in the right direction for him to be back in America next year.

"He loves the States and he loved the show. It was a huge disappointment when it wasn't recommissioned last year.

"There will be absolutely no question that he will be on the judging panel."

Thank god, X-Factor is just about all set to return to the US...becuse lord knows that new mother, Kelly Rowland, sure could use the work.
