Baby Simon Cowell Moves ‘X Factor’ Back to USA After 1D Harry Styles Fame Declared Unrepeatable? [VIDEO]

You know it must have practically killed Britain's Got Talent producer Simon Cowell when he recently admitted that he cancelled X Factor USA before it had a chance to really take root there the way American Idol and America's Got Talent have. According to the latest gossip news updates, Lauren Silverman's baby daddy is even thinking of one day bring the failed TV show back to the states. In the meantime, rumor has it that surly Si has taken complete control over the U.K.'s X Factor, but he still doesn't see another Harry Styles among the 2014 contestants. The prodigal judge says that One Direction's fame was more or less an unrepeatable phenomenon.

Hard as it is to actually believe Simon Cowell has finally admitted to making a mistake in judgment.

During a conversation with the Financial Times, Cowell told the publication that if had the opportunity to do it all over again her wouldn't have pulled X Factor out of the U.S. like he did last year.

According to report by Digital Spy, it just made more sense at the time to Cowell to focus on the U.K. market that was already primed to receive the show instead of having to slug it out with the other American networks' offerings.

Even with all his attention currently focused on his return to the British version of the X Factor--not only does he regret having returned--Simon doesn't feel that he will ever be able to top the success he has already achieved there.

Simon is quoted by the Daily News as saying that although he definitely doesn't see another Harry Styles among this year's candidates, he truly doubts that there will ever be a second One Direction to grace the X Factor stage before it too is one day cancelled.

Sounds like starting a family with Lauren Silverman has transformed Simon Cowell from an uber-confident predator into an middle-age old man settling down into a morass of regret and self-doubt.
