After Divorce, Nascar's Danica Patrick Lands Multi-Million Dollar GoDaddy Superbowl Ad [UPDATE]

For most people, it would be difficult to return to the Super Bowl with a new GoDaddy ad after a recent divorce. However, that is not the case for Danica Patrick. She actually celebrated on the day the departure was finalized, when she was named NASCAR Nationwide Series Most Popular Driver. Fans were astonished when the full throttle legend announced her divorce on Facebook. This lady is fierce on the raceway, but this method of breaking the news seemed somewhat perplexing. Nevertheless, GoDaddy will be featuring her in their next commercial in this year's Super bowl.

Patrick does value the dollar bill like most, and companies welcome hardworking, successful people like Danica. Also, GoDaddy clearly isn't afraid to put their money where their mouths are to prove it. TMZ reports on the company's latest investment:

" [It's] unclear if the Internet domain site will be spending $4 MILLION for a 30-second spot or dropping $8 MIL for 60 seconds. Either way, the company can afford it...reportedly posting $1 BILLION in revenue last year. Danica also tweeted ... 'Pumped to be in new @GoDaddy #SuperBowl ad -- co-starring with an adorable puppy. #ItsGoTime."

It remains clear that financially Patrick remains on the fast track. She makes all the right moves professionally. However, has she lost respect for her fans now after being named NASCAR Series Most Popular Driver? It would seem that she might have based on the offhanded we she broke the news about her divorce.

Fox News reported on Patrick's Facebook post, which read, " I am sad to inform my fans that after 7 years, Paul and I have decided to amicably end our marriage...this isn't easy for either of us, but mutually it has to come to this..."

Congratulations to Patrick for surviving the divorce and getting another spot with GoDaddy. Even if she lost her ex hubby Paul, she has gained a profitable replacement. What do you think? Do you think it was disrespectful to her fans? Are you exited to see what GoDaddy brings to the table on Super Bowl Sunday? Let us know in the comment section below.
