It is getting harder and harder to know who you can or can’t trust in the Marvel universe. Recently, Idris Elba (Jungle Book, Pacific Rim, The Wire) revealed that his Thor character, Heimdall, and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki, would appear in Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Now, a very scornful, Joss Whedon has spoken out about the leak.
Recently, Idris Elba spoke to The Telegraph where he revealed that he was going to be Avengers 2: Age of Ultron stating:
“I’m in Avengers and I’m doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth [Thor] and Tom Hiddleston [Loki], and they’re like, [whispers]--‘Aren’t you [meant to be] in Ibiza?'”
Naturally this upset, Avengers writer and director, Joss Whedon who spoke with Vulture about how he would reprimand Elba for the leak:
“Um, should he receive an email from me, there might be an attitude of scold...When you have a cast of 19,000 people, inevitably, once every month, you pick up [a story] and you're like, ‘Awww.’"
Marvel has had a few other leaks lately, including the leak of the new Avengers trailer.
Marvel blamed HYDRA for the leak and then decided to released the all new poster for the new film, writing on their twitter:
“Love the @Avengers: #AgeofUltron teaser trailer? Check out the official teaser poster!”
