Democracy is great thing, when it doesn’t interrupt our favorite new fall TV shows. It’s midterms, and the politicians might be running, but the Flash won’t. The Scarlet Speedster is taking the week off to vote for Central City’s congressional representatives. However, the hit CW series will be back next week with an all new episode featuring Kelly Frye as Plastique. Superman: TAS and Justice League Lex Luthor voice actor, Clancy Brown, also known as Mr Krabs from Spongebob Squarepants, will be joining the cast as General Wade Eiling.
The official plot synopsis for next week’s all new episode, titled “Plastique,” reads:
“A bomb explodes downtown and the army, led by General Eiling, comes in and takes over the investigation, much to Joe's dismay. Meanwhile, Wells informs the team that Eiling experimented on his men to turn them into super soldiers; and Joe tries to get Iris to stop writing about ‘the streak.’"
The all new episode introduces Kelly Frye as the supervillain Plastique. Recently, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg told TV Guide about the new character, stating:
"On the run from the shadow forces in the U.S. government trying to turn her into a human weapon. she finds an ally in fellow meta-human: The Flash."
Next week’s episode will also feature Clancy Brown as General Wade Eiling. Brown is famous for providing the voice of Mr.Krabs on Spongebob Squarepants, However, he also beloved for his portrayal as Lex Luthor in Superman: The Animated Series and Justice League.Check out this video fo Brown as Luthor:
