Matthew Barney, deft artist behind five-part visual masterpiece The Cremaster Cycle, takes wind once more with a new documentary entitled River of Fundament, a loosely based allegory on two-timing Pulitzer Prize winner Norman Mailer's Ancient Evenings. The late Marvin Hamlisch will be paid tribute this month by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Maestro Jack Everly in Maryland. Jack Everly will lead the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra on Thursday, January 23 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, as well as on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25. On Sunday, January 26 at 3 p.m., the party moves to Baltimore proper's Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.
