Spoleto Festival to Hold Open Auditions for 'Porgy and Bess' Choral Ensemble Feb. 19

The Spoleto Festival will be holding open auditions for all African-American singers seeking to be a part of the Porgy and Bess chorus line. Per a listing on the festival's website, the casting call is looking for singers in all voice categories wishing to be a part of the choral ensemble.

The ten-day event will feature a new 90-minute adaptation of three act tragedy of Gaetano Donizetti's 'Lucia di Lammermoor' with a new arrangement of the score by Invisible Anatomy's Dan Schlosberg along with Henry Purcell's 'Dido' and Aeneas' and new series COLLABORET.
