The full cast has been revealed for the upcoming revival of 'Once Upon a Mattress,' starring Sutton Foster and Michael Urie as Winnifred the Woebegone and Prince Dauntless.

The production will run for a limited run from Wednesday, July 31, to Saturday, Nov. 30, with an official opening on Monday, Aug. 12.

The newly revealed ensemble includes Cicily Daniels, Ben Davis, Amanda LaMotte, Sarah Michele Lindsey, Adam Roberts, and Richard Riaz Yoder, all of whom appeared in the Encores! mounting. Kara Lindsay will also reprise her position on standby for the role of Winnifred.

The newest members of the ensemble also include Daniel Beeman, Wendi Bergamini, Taylor Marie Daniel, Sheldon Henry, Oyoyo Joi, Michael Olaribigbe, Jeffrey Schecter, and Darius Wright.

They join a previously announced main cast that stars David Patrick Kelly, Foster, Urie, Brooks Ashmanskas, Daniel Breaker, Will Chase, Nikki Renée Daniels, and Ana Gasteyer. Casting is by Bernad Telsey and Craig Burns of the Telsey Office.

'Once Upon a Mattress,' which has music by Mary Rodgers and lyrics by Marshall Barer, follows Foster's character, Winnifred the Woebegone, the heroine of Hans Christian Anderson's classic fairy tale, as she tries to win over Queen Aggravain (Gasteyer) to marry Prince Dauntless the Drab (Urie).

The production will feature an Amy Sherman-Palladino-penned adaptation of the musical's original book by Jay Thompson, Dean Fuller, and Barer.

Furthermore, 'Once Upon a Mattress' will have choreography by Lorin Latarro, scenic design by David Zinn, lighting design by Justin Townsend, costume design by Andrea Hood, sound design by Kai Harada, and hair and wig design by J. Jared Janas. Orchestrations are by Bruce Coughlin. Mary-Mitchell Campbell will be the music supervisor and Annbritt duChateau as music director.

Following its run in New York, the production will go to Los Angeles for a four-week run at Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre from Tuesday, Dec. 10, to Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025.
