Tony Award nominee David Ives' new play 'Pamela Palmer,' premiering at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, has revealed its cast and additional creative team. His longtime collaborator, Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie, will direct the play.

The play will star Tina Benko, who recently served as Sarah Paulson's understudy in 'Appropriate' and will perform the title role.

The cast of 'Pamela Palmer' includes Tina Benko as 'Pamela Palmer,' Clark Gregg as 'The Detective,' Max Gordon Moore as 'The Husband,' and Becky Ann Baker as 'The Mother.'

The play will also feature scenic design by Alexander Woodword, costume design by Amanda Roberge, lighting design by Landon K. Elder, and sound design by Dan Moses Schreier.

'Pamela Palmer' will run from Tuesday, July 23 through Saturday, August 10, on WTF's CenterStage.

Ives, the author of "innumerable clever comedies" (New York Times), turns an existential romance into a noir tale in this world premiere play.

Pamela Palmer (Tina Benko) and her husband (Max Gordon Moore) appear to have an ideal life at Wishwood. However, Palmer has a strange feeling that something is wrong, and they end up involved with the investigator (Clark Gregg) she hires to investigate it. Undercover as a plainclothes philosopher, Palmer examines the human condition.

Furthermore, the company revealed a second performance of Alex Edelman's most recent standup piece. Edelman will now appear on WTF's MainStage for two shows on Saturday, July 20, and one event on Sunday, July 21.

Additional details about the Festival are available on its website.
