Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are very much in love. It seems like everybody, including Ellen DeGeneres, is interested to know where they are headed. So when Stefani was a guest star on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the host asked her what everybody has been dying to know.
Just when everyone thought they'd finally know about Stefani and Shelton's wedding plans, in a typical Ellen manner, the 58-year-old comedienne meant a different kind of "big question."
“So when he popped the big question,” the host said, “about you being his mentor [on The Voice], how did he do that?” Stefani and the audience then burst into laughter.
The 46-year-old rockstar then gathered her thoughts to give a sensible answer after DeGeneres fooled her with the inquisition. Gwen revealed it was a no-brainer for her to say "yes" when Shelton asked her to be a part of his team.
“I want to be on that show as much as possible,” Stefani shared. “I got so much out of it.”
Ellen quickly replied, "You did," pointing that Stefani got a boyfriend out of the show.
Although Gwen and Blake do want to take their relationship to the next level HollwoodLife previously reported that according to In Touch magazine, the No Doubt singer's ex-husband Gavin Rossdale is dragging the divorce proceedings.
“[Gwen]’s desperately in love with Blake and wants to start a new life with him, but she can’t until the divorce is final,” the source revealed to the magazine. “This has turned into an all-out war with Gwen’s ex — and both Gwen and Blake feel like they’re under siege.”
