Tyra Banks Posts First Pic of Son York on Valentine's Day

Tyra Banks shared the first photo of her adorable baby boy, York Banks Asla, on Instagram. She debuted her son on Valentine's day, Feb. 14, and called the moment as her "happiest Valentine's day" ever. What makes this photo even more precious is that this is the first ever Valentine's day photo of the media mogul as a mother.

In the photo, the 42-year-old America’s Next Top Model host will be seen holding baby York close to her chest as he is fast asleep and was covered in a comfortable blanket. Banks looked absolutely stunning without any make up on.

“This is the Happiest Valentine’s Day of my life. York, Daddy @erikasla and I send you so much love,” she captioned the snap.

Baby York came as a surprise to everyone. Nobody knew the supermodel was expecting a baby with photographer boyfriend Erik Asla. The pair welcomed their first son via gestational surrogate and Banks announced the good news in January. “The best present we worked and prayed so hard for is finally here,” she captioned the pic of a baby hat. “He’s got my fingers and big eyes and his daddy Erik’s mouth and chin."

The new mom then went on to thank the person who carried their little one. She then revealed the baby's name and welcomed their son to the world.

"As we thank the angel of a woman that carried our miracle baby boy for us, we pray for everyone who struggles to reach this joyous milestone. York Banks Asla, welcome to the world,” she wrote.

Banks previously shared to People Magazine regarding her struggle with fertility. She and Asla then decided to use a surrogate and now they have their very own miracle in their arms.

“As I gaze into the beautiful eyes of my son, I think about all the people who struggle with fertility or carrying a child and continue to pray for them every day," she told the site in a statement.
