Although America's Next Top Model host, Tyra Banks, has enjoyed tons of success at everything she's set her mind to professionally, the 41-year-old retired supermodel claims that she won't be complete until she finally gets pregnant. According to the latest gossip news updates, Banks isn't willing to say she wants to get married to boyfriend Erik Asia for the time being, but she is apparently more than ready to have his baby. Meanwhile, the fashionista claims that she thinks designers have made a mistake in seemingly making all their clothes for the skinniest of clients. In fact, Tyra insists that if she could change anything about her physical appearance she would have to give herself a much bigger booty.
Judging by any metric Tyra Banks has to be one of the most successful supermodels of all time, but the 41-year-old reality TV star insists that she won't truly be satisfied until she gets to be a mom.
In a recent interview in the latest September 21 issue of In Touch, Tyra explains that she never saw herself as the kind of woman that was willing to sacrifice her personal happiness for her career:
"I'm not the woman who says, 'Career, career, career and no children' by any means.
"I don't know [if I'll get married]... but my love life right now is fantastic!"
Tyra went on to tell the magazine that, truth be told, her not having a baby isn't the only thing that she is dissatisfied with these days:
"I don't like my booty. I wish it wasn't there. I really, really wish it wasn't there!
"But I don't let it get me down, it doesn't make me work out like crazy."
During a recent chat on Live with Kelly and Michael, Tyra talked about a few things that she finds dissatisfying about the fashion industry as a whole.
According to Tyra, she thinks that everyone would be a much lot better off if clothing designers could learn to appreciate a fuller framed aesthetic (via The Root):
"Do you see how skinny I was [as a model]? I was so skinny!
"I really think that designers just think clothes look better on somebody smaller. I disagree."
Let's hope that Tyra can inspire a positive change in the fashion industry, while she waits to one day become the mother she's always dreamed of being.
