Justin Bieber may be known for his bad behavior and the tabloids sure do enjoy talking about his failed relationship with Selena Gomez and his new romance with rumored girlfriend, Hailey Baldwin. They don't ever focus on the good side of Bieber but Ellen DeGeneres made sure that people were reminded that the "Love Yourself" singer has a good heart and can be very generous, doing things like donating money to save an elementary school in Detroit.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show is not only for entertainment as the 58-year-old host also uses the show as a platform for helping other people. In this case, DeGeneres wanted to do something special for the Spain Elementary Middle School in Detroit which had a lot of safety issues and problems with their facilities.
“When I heard about (the conditions at Spain), I knew I had to help,” DeGeneres said during her show that aired on February 11. The host also asked for Lowe's help regarding this matter and the home improvement store gave the teachers and staff members a $100 gift card each and a hefty check for the school's renovations and technology.
Just when everyone thought it couldn't get any better, it did! DeGeneres announced that she had one more surprise and Bieber suddenly popped out of a large box in the studio while everyone went wild.
Even with a very hectic schedule, the 21-year-old hitmaker took the time to take part of this show and he then revealed that he's going to donate $1 from each ticket that will be sold to his upcoming concert.
“That’s a lot of tickets,” the beloved host said. “That’s a big auditorium.”
Before she paused for a break, DeGeneres revealed that Lowe's will donate another $250,000.00 to the elementary school.
