'Quantico' Star Priyanka Chopra Would Like to do a Pakistani Film if Right One Came Along

Bollywood actress and star of the hit American TV show Quantico, Priyanka Chopra, says she wouldn't mind starring in Pakistani film. Of course, that is, if the right story comes along. It appears Priyanka is developing a yen for all things Pakistani. From what this was born, no mention has been made. Chopra isn't doing this to promote a cause or anything like that. Indian and Pakastani differences are beyond her sphere of influence. If the countries are to make peace with each other, it is the governments of both countries that must lead, she feels.

Chopra had this to say, via FilmiBeat, when asked about diffusing tensions, "It is very difficult that this responsibility is put on the shoulders of artists. This is the government's problem. It depends on them to solve it. Artists can only bring countries together... This responsibility should be on us as people, on government. Whatever artists do, they do for art and art goes to the whole world."

Chopra, who romances Pakistani heartthrob, Fawad Khan, in Reema Kagti's Mr Chaalu, has been extremely busy the past year. On top of filming Quantico, Priyanka starred opposite Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in the hit epic, Bajirao Mastani. But that's not all that the obscenely talented Priyanka can do. Apparently, with all her filming, Priyanka has been neglecting her music. Yes, she makes music, too, and is a bit mournful for allowing it to be put on the back burner. Speaking to the Hindustan Times, Priyanka said she has been a bad mother where her music is concerned.

There is, though, precious little time in the world of Priyanka Chopra for everything she wants to do. One thing she will never give up is Bollywood. This via PakistanToday, "I love Hindi films, and I cannot see myself, as an actor, not being part of Hindi movies. There's a reason they call me 'desi girl', you know?" she says, laughing. "My priority has always been getting a great part in a great film, whether that's in Hindi or in English. As long as it is up to my standards, I'd be open to working in it, whether it's in Bollywood or in Hollywood,"
