Watch Video: Official 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Trailer is Jaw Dropping!

The official full length trailer for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has finally been released and it was everything that we thought it would be and more. 2016 looks like it is going to be one hell of a year for superhero movie fans.

The trailer is finally here, the wait is over. The second trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is out and this one takes a lighter tone that the over-the-top grit first trailer that we saw. This one gives us a lot more character interaction, and it does not disappoint. Check out the trailer below:

Where do I start? Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne have an interaction where each one seems to know about the other, yet they keep side stepping that each knows the others secret identity. This is an epic interaction. You can really get a sense of the weigh of anger that each harnesses, and when Superman tells Batman to back down that he would have already hurt him had he wanted to, I about died. That is not even the best news! According to this trailer, General Zod is Doomsday or some form of derivative of him! This is the trailer that I have been waiting to see.

The humor gives the film a lighter side inside of all of that brooding. The funny aspects are nice, although they do seem a little forced at times. Another thing that I noticed, was that because the seriousness and grit of this universe, the humor almost doesn't fit right. The sarcasm comes off as a bit *ickish. Whether this will work in DC's favor or not, remains to be seen.

This trailer is starting to change my opinion of this film for the better. It is not that I am a DC hater, it is just that the feel of this universe is a bit off. The Nolan Batman films were great, they were serious and took themselves serious. The Snyder MOS film just had this feeling as though something was off. This film is getting closer, but it still feels like something is not quite right, although they have retooled this film a bit. I am excited for what 2016 has to offer moviegoers, in the way of superhero films. It is truly a great time to be a comic book fan.
