Heading into NFL Week 11 action, the Chicago Bears will host the Denver Broncos in one of the week's key games. What five bold predictions can be made for the game and what should fans be on the lookout for throughout the game?
1. Jay Cutler Breaks Through the Denver Defense for 300 Yards, Three TD's
Coming into the 2015 NFL season, there were question marks about whether or not Jay Cutler could finally break out of his slump. Those questions have been answered and the obvious answer has been that he can and has broken out. John Fox and Adam Gase have been very pleased with his play this season and he will continue that this week against Denver with 300 yards and three touchdowns.
2. Brock Osweiler Throws at Least Two Interceptions
Peyton Manning will miss this week due to a partial tear of his plantar fasciia, which means that Brock Osweiler will be getting the start. Heading into Solider Field is never easy and Osweiler will struggle and throw at least two interceptions. That may not cost Denver the game, but it will make it much more difficult to bounce back from.
3. Jeremy Langford Racks Up 175 Total Yards, Touchdown
One of the bigger surprises over the past couple weeks for the Bears has been the play of rookie running back Jeremy Langford. He has been impressive since Matt Forte went down with an injury, which will continue this week. Langford will rack up a total of 175 yards through the air and on the ground combined and will score at least one touchdown as well.
4. Denver Sacks Jay Cutler at Least Four Times
If the Bears want to come away with a win this week, protecting Jay Cutler is a must. Denver has one of the best pass rushes in the NFL and they are going to be coming after the quarterback all game long. Whether or not Chicago can get the job done or not is another question, but expect to see the Broncos record at least four sacks throughout the course of the game.
5. Chicago Pulls Off a Huge Victory at Home
Beating the Broncos is never an easy task, but the Bears are going to get the job done this week. Not having to go up against Manning helps a lot, but the Bears are starting to play a strong brand of football. They are going to come out and execute their game plan well and will get a win for the home crowd and improve to 5-5 on the season.
Overview
Expect to see this game come down to the wire between two very talented football teams. Chicago has the upper hand due to the injury that Manning is dealing with, which will end up being the difference maker. Cutler should have a big game against the strong Denver defense and will be able to pull away late in the game.
