While Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez are doing their best to appear as though they are still getting along despite their divorce, word has it that things are about to heat up. According to the latest gossip news updates, Cat Women's husband is thinking of writing a scathing tell-all to drum up some extra cash in lieu of his getting denied access to Halle's X-MEN net worth, thanks to her ironclad prenup. It's even been said that Halle is secretly so angry over the split that she is swearing off relationships all together for the time being.
Since Halle Berry seems to have the advantage both of filing first and her prenup going into her divorce from Olivier Martinez, the French actor is said to be contemplating desperate measures in his quest to make some money off their marriage.
One source in the latest November 23, issue of Life & Style claims that Martinez is seriously thinking about writing a tell-all book about his time with Halle to make a million dollars or two while he still can:
"She's convinced Olivier will try to ruin her.
"He's desperate for cash and is worried he won't get much money from Halle because of their prenuptial agreement."
As ridiculous as it sounds, a supposed insider reportedly told the National Enquirer that Halle has decided to swear off men altogether in reaction to yet another long-term relationship going bust:
"Halle has had it with love life drama. She's giving up on men.
"She's spent months kicking herself for making the same mistake not once, not twice -- but three times.
"She even jokes with friends that if they gave out an award for worst taste in men, she'd clean up because she is a winner when it comes to picking losers!"
If Olivier does decide to get nasty, Robert Blandt, a specialist in California family law, tells People that Berry could always bring up what an unfit single parent someone as violent as Martinez would make -- given his propensity to punch those that disagree with him:
"She can use that as grounds to claim he has a propensity for violence, but she really has to prove the violence directly affects the child."
