Katherine Heigl Talks ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Return? [ABC NEWS]

Ever since her character mysteriously wondered off the show after sort of sorting out some issues with the brain tumor back in 2010, fans of ABC's Grey's Anatomy have been begging Shonda Rhimes to bring Katherine Heigl back to the hit ABC medical drama. According to the latest gossip news updates, that is never going to happen, however, as the Knocked Up actress explained in a recent interview that she has permanently moved on from the show. While it is no secret that Heigl was fired due to her bad attitude, Heigl's husband, Josh Kelly, insists that she is the easiest person in the world to get along with, although he also admits to sometimes contemplating divorce.

Since Shonda Rhimes' hit Grey' Anatomy has made it's reputation off of "jumping the shark" week after week, fans of the show often wonder why Kathrine Hiegl's character, Izzie Stephens, can't be brought for at least a multi-episode arch.

During her interview in the latest November 9, issue of In Touch, Heigl claims that at this point she is still no more interested in going back to the show than the powers that be are to have her return:

"I'm so flattered [fans are still want me to return], but the show is on its path doing its thing...as am I."

Besides, these days Katherine would rather spend her days at home instead of battling some network heavy determined to make her into something she's not:

"We live in a small ranching town 7,000 feet up in the mountains. It's so peaceful.

"Now, when I am working. I can say, 'Guys, I can't take a meeting every days, five days week - I'm in Utah."

While the attitude Heigl took into her most popular projects -- like Grey's Anatomy and Knocked Up -- ultimately resulted in her earning a reputation as being one of Hollywood's most difficult actors, her husband Josh Kelly just doesn't see it.

During a recent discussion with the Washington Post, Kelly claimed that although they often fight, he thinks of Katherine as one of the easiest going people in the world:

"She is probably one of the most grounded, most amazing people on planet freaking Earth. And not enough people know it, cause she's so [famous] that it's easy to prey on that.

"I mean, it's very interesting because she had this...somehow a bunch of haters just created a whole thing that she's 'difficult.'

"That girl's never been late, never missed a mark, she's the least 'difficult' person in the world. I've been to every movie set since we were together, and everybody loves her."

What do you think about Katherine Heigl?
